Let's get right to it, Chrome Soft is our softest urethane golf ball. If you want exceptionally soft feel, excellent short game control, with long distance and low spin off the tee too, than this is your golf ball. From the cover to the core, the durable design feels amazing off the clubface and helps give you the control to hit great shots around the green. It also helps create the lowest spin off the driver, so your tee shots go even longer.

I have used the Callaway Supersoft golf ball and like it a lot. I bought two boxes of the new Chrome Soft, and I am testing both of these for distance, chipping and pitching. It is hard to test both balls when the course is so busy, but in another few weeks as the winter visitors head back up north, I will be able to play two balls to compare.

One More Reason Golf has become easier to play…

This is really a great golf ball that performs as advertised. Most of my friends play Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1X and they have been impressed by the performance of the Callaway ball. The biggest difference that I notice is around the green. The ball is very responsive and stops on a dime. Harder compression golf balls do not respond in the same fashion. They tend to roll out regardless of how much spin I put on the ball. Since my swing speed is lower than younger players, the ball appears to make up for my deficiency. Very impressive performance…worth the price if you are looking for a ball that makes you look competent around the greens. Just for reference purposes, I am a 10 handicap and play about 40 rounds a year in Southern California. Distance off the tee with the Callaway ball is about the same as I get with a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x or with a Tailor-made Lethal ball. It also performs the same as the other balls mentioned off of long and mid-irons. I may get a little more distance with short irons than the other balls…go figure.

Was somewhat hesitant to move to such a low compression ball from playing with the Callaway SR3. But after playing 2 tournaments with them, I wont ever go back to anything else… They were just as long as the SR3, which are designed for swing speeds faster than 105 mph, and 2 times as soft as a Pro-v1.

Love this ball

this are the brightest yellow balls on the market and the chrome soft is a fantastic ball. I’m about a 7 handicap and love the distance and soft feel. We live in the south where the bermuda goes dormant and these are much easier to see on the dormant bermuda versus the white ball. I play the red and white truvis in the summer (green turf).

Soccer Ball Paint Job Overrated

Not necessarily easy to find on the ground. When you have spent years searching for golf balls, you know what they look like. This does not look like a golf ball. At distance of more than 30 yards it looks more like a dirty rock. Of course, it is winter, and the fairways are brown right now. There might be a better result in the spring when they are contrasted against Green Grass. I still gave it a 5-star rating because it’s a great golf ball with super performance.

Best golf balls I’ve played. I like them better than Titleist Pro V1x……..since I have a slower swing than a lot. These feel as soft to me as the Pro V’s and just as much reaction around the greens! Not to mention cheaper!

Improved distance without sacrificing control

I was previously using the Callaway super soft which were great in eliminating slicing with the driver. The Callaway Chrome Soft were not quite as forgiving but definitely added distance when hit well.

Love them!

Great ball! I’ve alternated between Callaway (Hex Black) and Titleist (Pro V1x) the last couple of years. Personally I find this ball to be every bit as effective as the Pro V1x, and off the putter I find the Callaway to be softer. Great ball and I would recommend it!

I liked the older model but new model is better

I liked the older model but new model is better. I can feel the difference. Fav ball is theTitleist Pro V1x but this new ball is a close second. Plus, cheaper than Pro V

Wanted to try a yellow quality ball to see if these 65 year old eyes could see them better. Awesome ball

balls came before delivery date. Wanted to try a yellow quality ball to see if these 65 year old eyes could see them better. Awesome ball…soft and plenty of spin around the green and I could follow them in the air better than white
