It has a good feel to it
It has a good feel to it. If I were a better player maybe I would give it a five. As it is, I’m learning to hit it better all the time.
CALLAWAY’S BEST HYBRID!!!

The X2 Hot is Callaway’s best effort yet in hybrid technology. It’s easy to get the ball up in the air, and it tends to go far and straight. You still have to put a decent swing on the club and let the club do the work. My best shots are from fluffy lies, and my worst shots are from hard lies. Still prefer using a fairway wood from the tee on long par 3’s. The Aldila Blue shaft feels true to flex and has lots of kick. Didn’t care for the stock grip which was replaced with an oversize one. Also purchased the 5 hybrid which is almost as long as the 3 hybrid. Both clubs will help improve your score and help you reach those long par 5’s. It’s hard to find these clubs on the used market yet because golfers are keeping them in their bags. Amazon had a good price on the club which included free shipping. This club is highly recommended.
Great Club with Distance and Accuracy
After hitting this club on the course, I immediately took my 4 iron out of the bag. It is easier to get off the ground, 10 or more yards longer, better out of the rough and really accurate off the tee on long par 3’s or short par 4’s. The only drawback is that I now have a lot of distance disparity between my 5 iron and this great looking 4 hybrid. Ignore the fact that it is a hybrid and make your usual long iron swing to get best results.
Love this club

Love this club. I had played 2 rounds with a demo befor purchasing it, so I already had some experience with it. This has become my go to club when I need a 180 yard plus shot from the fairway. I’ll use it in lieu of my xhot 5 wood because It’s easier to hit and I can hit it almost as far as the 5 wood. When I hit it in the sweet spot, the ball springs off the face like off a trampoline and with a nice, crisp sound.
Completing my X2 set. Buy it!

I am a 26 handicapper who is currently playing to an 18 handicap, so am improving. A big reason, the X2 hot irons are just awesome and so I wanted to try the hybrids. I bought a preowned 4h 22 deg and couldnt find the 3h at that time (at a store) so bought an exotics 3h preowned with 19deg. I was hitting my 3h to 185 yards with occasional loss of control with my power push cut (my preferred word for my slice) but my 4h was going 195-200 yards effortlessly. 200 yards!! Im 5’7 155, never thought I could hit 200. Made no sense that my 4h was hitting longer than a 3h, so I had to get this and I hit my first shots at the driving range. So much more control with the X2 than with the exotics and comes in an attractive blue matrix type shaft that I love.

The 5 hybrid is an excellent club. It is a club longer than my old Hybrids, has a high carry and lands softly. The set up is square and gives you a feeling of confidence that you can execute the shot that is demanded. It has a very solid feel and the sound is reassuring with a well struck shot. I would recommend the X2 hot hybrids to any golfer that wants more controll and distance.
A Very Good Purchase.

This club met my expectations completely. The club was virtually brand-new, still with the clear plastic wrap over the head of the club. Also, the shipment included a head-cover. (I forgot to check when I ordered it whether a head-cover would be included). The shipment arrived a couple of days before promised, so I couldn’t have asked for more. Annnnnd, the club is working quite well!
Easy and Consistent Shots
I bought a 3h in “used – acceptable” form and I could not be happier with my purchase. In about a dozen balls at the driving range I was able to get much more consistent contact and longer range than my 3-Iron, by far. The grip is comfortable and the stiff shaft made predictably-good shots very easy.
Straighter and farther is always good
I purchased 6 thru 3 of these hybirds with senior shafts because I could not get my current Adams Tight Lies to go straight. Those clubs seemed to have much more of a “closed face” than these Callaways, which contributed to the “hooking” of my shots ( to be fair, I may have contributed a bit with my swing, but… that’s my story, and I sticking with it!). These clubs should not be “over swung” as they too will hook (apparently ALL Hybirds have a draw face to some degree, even these Callaways); but if you swing “normally”, that is, through the ball, then they sail straight and are longer than the Adams. I have seen quite of few of these clubs in the bags of the members of my club, so there are others who like these clubs as well as me. — As far as those Tight Lies– I gave them to my playing partner– let him play from the red stakes on the left!
All around great club from any location
This club has quickly turned into one of my favorite clubs. I’ve hit it off the tee, fairway, and rough and it has managed all three great. Miss hits are greatly rewarded over a normal long iron miss hit. Distance is further than the long iron it replaces as well as easier workability of the ball. Callaway has done great with the X2 line of clubs. This club gets through rough easily and looks sleek. The X2 line uses great shafts and decent grips, although I will be re-gripping this club soon as the grip has started to become slick. Add this club to your bag and shave a couple strokes off your game.
