Fun to Use

I looked for some time to find my husband his birthday present. This product fit the bill. It has a long ‘putting green’ with a ball return. The balls never get stuck and always roll back to the putter. Year and a half and still looks new. I just vacuum it once in a while. It is popular with our friends and family that come to visit. It is almost like a magnet and everyone has to give it a try and they have fun with it. I took away a star because the price is quite high for a little molded plastic and a few yards of ‘indoor outdoor’ carpet felt.

It’s not a game

A little pricey for what you get, but it works. Ball comes back 99 times out of 100. If you’re looking for a game try elswhere. It is very forgiving of hard hit balls so, yes, you can put the ball in the hole nearly every time if that’s what you’re looking for. But, if you want to work on your stroke and build muscle memory it works fine. Given that it already has a slope in front of the hole I try for just dropping the ball in the hole. If it hits the back of the hole it was hit too hard and I adjust my stroke accordingly.

Great for developing a putting stroke

Arrived in excellent condition. We have it on a short-pile rug and everything works fine including the ball return. It’s an excellent tool to develop a consistent putting stroke, and has made a noticeable improvement in mine. The only issue is that since the cup is at the top of a incline, you need to putt harder than what would normally be required on a real green. To compensate, I try to adjust my swing to try to get the ball to “just make it” into the cup, which in the long-run, should help improve putting even more. Overall, it works fine and we are very happy with it.

Cured my left corner miss in just 30 min, I wish found this training aid 3 years ago when I started this game

This mat helps me to identify my miss to the left by only spend 30 min in 3 days. I occasionally hit the left cup corner and miss. I was able to corrected this by relax my right wrist and firm up my left wrist to addressed the problem.

Easy to pick up and put away

We use this often. Easy to pick up and put away, but we often just leave it out (on low carpet floor). My husband swears it has improved his putting! I like how it has lines for the different distance to indicate putting stroke needed. The tool back function works well. No problems. Fast delivery.

I have mixed feelings / For the price, you cant beat it.

Perfect for honing your putting stroke

 on January 2, 2014

This mat is portable and I used it to get ready for golf season. It was critical in honing my stroke – to ensuring that I wouldn’t miss any more putts because I wasn’t putting it where I WANTED to. (I still miss because of bad reads, of course – but I can blame my caddy for that ;).) After a few days I was able to hit 70 in a row from 7 feet, and that gave me confidence in my stroke to be automatic in getting the ball from A to B. When I next played, my foursome group was surprised how I kept hitting those short putts I used to have trouble with — and even sank a few from beyond 15 feet! Highly recommended.
